The successful candidate must have the following:

 

  • -Possession of Ordinary Long-Term Life Insurance License or willingness to complete
  • -Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business or industry-relevant professional designation.
  • -A valid driver’s license
  • -Five (5) years demonstrable experience in a Sales role
  • -Excellent communication skills oral and written, including presentation skills.
  • -Superior relationship management skills: Develops, manages, grows and institutionalizes complex relationships.
  • -Excellent negotiation, problem solving skills

Position:  Assistant Manager, Risk & Compliance

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Manager, Risk & Compliance in our Risk and Compliance Department.

 

The successful candidate must have the following:

 

  • -Degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance or Professional Qualification (e.g. ACCA or CMA)
  • -Certificates of completion from nationally recognized compliance schools are preferred (ICAT, CAMS)
  • -Proficient knowledge of other Microsoft Office Applications.
  • -Knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis and data presentation
  • -Three (3) years’ experience in a similar role at a Finance Institution (e.g. Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit)

  • -Life Office Management Association (LOMA)
  • -Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) (Will be an asset)
  • -Professional certification in Risk and Compliance (Will be an asset)
  • -Professional certification in BCP will be an asset (Will be an asset)
  • -Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a Risk, Compliance or Audit
  • -Knowledge of industry best practice and regulatory and statutory requirements
  • -Microsoft Office competency (Word, Excel, Power point are essential)
