Position: Sales Associate (Montego Bay & Kingston) -Fixed Term Contract

 

Overall Responsibility – Contribute to our strategic business priorities by supporting the Account Executive in delivering on the organization’s sales mandate by leveraging industry knowledge and expertise to grow existing business. Generate new clients and retain relationships while delivering an exceptional client experience through effective relationship management practices.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • -Collaborates to develop appropriate portfolio strategies to deliver on sales targets.
  • -Partner with the Account Executive in designing presentations, developing seminars and other key sales events with credit unions and other strategic partners.
  • -Develop promotional activities and incentives for approval and execution.
  • -Ensure timely escalation and active follow up of client issues through the appropriate channels.
  • -Provide sales reports as required by the Account Executive highlighting trends and identifying opportunities.
  • -Represent the organization at AGM’s and other Credit Unions events which may, from time to time be outside of normal working hours.
  • -Other related duties as assigned

 

As a requirement for this role, the applicant must own a reliable motor vehicle. Further, the successful candidate must possess:

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION 

  • -BSc or BA from an accredited institution in a related discipline
  • -Relevant professional certification in Sales or related discipline would be an asset
  • -Certification (License) to sell financial/insurance products as per regulatory requirements

 

EXPERIENCE 

  • -3 -5 years’ experience in a Sales position
  • -Demonstrated record of achievement in a sales position
  • -Experience in communicating with senior management

Position: Administrative Assistant- Operations (Kingston)

 

Overall Responsibility: To provide administrative support to the Operations Department

 

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

 OFFICE ADMINISTRATION

  • -Ensures a consistently updated record of all correspondence is in place
  • -Accurately record, prepare and disseminate minutes for meetings within the department
  • -Print and package all daily automatically generated operational correspondences as outlined by the standard operating procedures
  • -Create manual correspondence as needed
  • -Ensure that all correspondences are linked to the appropriate accounts on the Policy Administration System
  • -Package and label outgoing correspondence in accordance with established standard operating procedures
  • -Forward incoming queries to the operations staff best able to handle them
  • -Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Operations leadership team
  • -Perform other related duties as assigned

  • -At least 3-5 years experience in administration or a related field.

 

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • -At least five (5) CXC passes with a minimum of Grade II (General Proficiency) in English Language and Mathematics
  • -Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • -Certification as an Administrative Professional would be an asset.
